About the company

Cloudspital was founded on 4th August 2020 in India. The company's formation had an absolute vision to disrupt the medical technology sector and to create highly affordable medical technologies which would be a bridge between quality healthcare and affordability. We at Cloudspital are working on various medical technologies like digital health, licensed telemedicine software, touch-less disinfection, AI-based health monitoring system, robust EMRs and much more.

Cloudspital is incubated under the Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog at Atal Incubation Center - Bihar Vidyapeeth. We are also a recognized start-up by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.

TELE-PICU JOINT RESEARCH PROJECT REPORT

How cloudspital started?

Month-1 -: Joint project signed

Respected Director of AIIMS, Patna Dr Prabhat Kumar Singh signed an MoU with Cloudspital Private Limited to start research over PICU Digitalisation based on the “hub-scope” model

Principal Investigator Started the project
Dr. Lokesh Tiwari, HoD, Department of Pediatrics, AIIMS - Patna started the project in full throttle from the day -1 with a defined action plan to create a kiosk as soon as possible

Kiosk Delivered at AIIMS

The tele-PICU monitoring kiosk was delivered to the Paediatrics ICU of AIIMS, Patna. The expenses in developing the kiosk were done by both the bodies. The manpower for tech in the system was provided by Cloudspital and Medical part was covered by AIIMS, Patna.

Month - 2 : E-rounds stated at PICU

Digital cameras adopted
Digital otoscope and digital dermatoscopy were added on the kiosk to access ear and skin images of the patient.

E-round services presented in PICU sensitization and observership program
The PICU sensitization and observership program was hosted by AIIMS, Patna to train different doctors from the Government of Bihar.

Month - 3 : Spandan ECG integrated with Kiosk

A handheld ECG device - Spandan was introduced as an add-on to the kiosk and it was integrated with the kiosk to provide ECG reports of patients

Final model of kiosk developed

Trial Completion

3 - month trial was completed and Govt. of Bihar announced the adoption the facility

SAK - 03 completed a 3 month trial at AIIMS, Patna. Government of Bihar reached out AIIMS, Patna to adopt these facilities at district level hospitals and AIIMS, Patna was announced as the NODAL CENTRE

A detailed presentation was given to The Department of Health, Government of Bihar to scale this project
Bihar govt engaged AIIMS-Patna to provide telemedicine facilities to 38 district hospitals, with AIIMS as the nodal center offering support.

Founding Phase: 3 Months Trial

AIIMS-Patna Director Dr. Prabhat Kumar Singh signed an MoU with Cloudspital Private Limited to initiate research on PICU digitalization using a "hub-scope" model. Dr. Lokesh Tiwari, HoD of Pediatrics at AIIMS-Patna, swiftly launched the project with a plan to establish a tele-PICU monitoring kiosk. This kiosk was jointly developed by both parties, with Cloudspital providing technical expertise and AIIMS-Patna handling the medical aspects. The kiosk was delivered to the Pediatrics ICU, enabling remote monitoring capabilities.

Project Parvarish or The School Health and Hygiene Management Program is a specially designed program to cater the healthcare related issues of school going children. The program aims to establish a high-tech infirmary at the school which would be operated by highly trained nursing staff.
